Description
Pairing Palo Santo and Selenite together invokes the blessings of the moon goddess for your ritual purposes.
*NOTE: These crystals are indeed in the same family as Selenite, but are actually called Satin Spar. I’ve listed them as Selenite due to the incredible amount of confusion in the industry. All correspondences remain the same.
The intuitive art of smoke cleansing rituals has become a mainstay in homes across the world. Palo Santo, Sage, loose incense blends containing frankincense, myrrh, and copal can cleanse and attract blessings into your practice and home. These Palo Santo bundles are wrapped with dried florals and bundled together with selenite to imbued your practice with energy of the moon. Each bundle has been blessed in a sound bath ritual and charged under the full moon to bless your intuitive practice.
Palo Santo is known as the Holy Wood and should be used sparingly. You may wish to clip back the dried flowers before burning. Save the flowers to use on your altar.
When you light a Palo Santo stick it takes a good minute or more (over the flame) to really get the fibers to start burning. Blow out the flame, then wave slowly and gently around the space to allow the holy smoke to enhance the energy in the air.
Chant your affirmations, prayer, or spell in ritual during this time. Ask your guides to send blessings to your sacred space and set any intentions you wish to manifest.
Palo Santo typically smolders out on its own when you place it in a heat safe dish. If it doesn’t smolder out, simply rub the tip into your heat safe dish until it’s extinguished. You can also keep some sand to immerse it in if you need to.
Palo Santo’s aroma can be enjoyed simply by placing an unburned bundle it into your cabinets.
Once the stick has burned down to the Selenite, remove the Selenite and store with your Palo Santo until you have completed your last ritual. The Selenite will then be completely charged with the blessings of all your rituals.
Palo Santo is from the tree, Bursera graveolens, that is found in Central and South America and requires a permit to obtain from naturally fallen trees. While the Peruvinan government listed this holy tree as ‘in critical danger’, the International Union of the Conservation of Nature listed it as ‘stable’. in light of this. we respect the natural shedding of branches and only purchase form reputable suppliers. Due to the higher demand of the public, we only supply our own shelves once a year with a small amount of Palo Santo and we list it sparingly. Palo Santo should be used for ceremonial and ritual purposes only, as more often use of it dilutes the power of it’s purpose and would perpetuate the illegal harvesting of these empowering trees. One Palo Santo stick should last a respectful practitioner 6-12 months.
This listing is for 1 Palo Santo Selenite Bundle.
Blessings,
