Do you know how much I love this season? If you’ve been reading my blog you’re probably noticing the increased activity. There’s something mystical about this time of year. Inspiration seems to come more abundantly and I’m suspecting it’s because the veil is thinning and all the wondrous magic from our ancestors is coming through.
The Hunter’s Moon speaks to us about finalizing our hunt before the harsh winter hits. Whatever it is that you’ve been working on this year, it’s time to go in for the ‘kill’ and reap your rewards.
When working with the Hunter’s Moon, as with any full moon, you’ll want to allow the full moon energy to fill some crystals with that abundant and fulfilling energy. Since this full moon is so close to Samhain, I also gather specific crystals together to soak up all that Moon Goddess vibe.
This Full Moon we’re holding sacred space for our ancestors who may be visiting for Samhain this year. We’re gathering around a bonfire and will be placing our crystals in a safe place around the fire to receive the energy of our ritual. Always use caution when it comes to crystals and flame, the fire can heat up your crystals and be hot. So keep them at a safe distance.
Taylor Swift’s 7th album, Lover finally made it’s splash in the ocean of love August 23rd. The songs are lyrically spectacular and imaginative. I honestly can’t get enough of it.
There’s 18 songs in this collection, which is the first album for Taylor to own. Among these 18 songs, 12 of them align with each of the zodiac signs quite nicely.
Take a look below and let me know if these songs resonate with your sun signs.
Aries: Cruel Summer (Listen here). Cruel Summer aligns with Aries because Aries lovers fight hard and don’t wanna let go. The summer was cruel and the fight was on, but… I love you
“Killing me slow, out the window I’m always waiting for you to be waiting below Devils roll the dice, angels roll their eyes What doesn’t kill me makes me want you more”
Taurus: Paper Rings (Listen here). Paper Rings aligns with Taurus lovers because while they like shiny things, they’d “marry you with paper rings”. Because love is so much more than monetary items.
“I like shiny things, but I’d marry you with paper rings Uh huh, that’s right Darling, you’re the one I want, and I hate accidents except when we went from friends to this Uh huh, that’s right Darling, you’re the one I want, and Paper rings and picture frames and dirty dreams Oh, you’re the one I want”
Gemini: The Archer (Watch Here). While the archer is the symbol of Sagittarius, the message of being both the archer and the prey really resonates with Gemini, the two sides of love.
“I’ve been the archer, I’ve been the prey Screaming, who could ever leave me, darling? But who could stay?”
Cancer: Soon You’ll Get Better (Listen here). Soon You’ll get Better is a song Taylor wrote for her mother, Andrea, as she battled cancer. Cancer is the one sign in the zodiac that focuses on family relationships and the earnest prayer Taylor sings for her mother shows the true nature of Cancer in our astrological universe.
“In doctor’s-office-lighting, I didn’t tell you I was scared That was the first time we were there Holy orange bottles, each night I pray to you Desperate people find faith, so now I pray to Jesus too”.
Leo: The Man (Listen here). Leos are always out in front, taking charge, and roaring for the world to hear right where they stand. This anthem preaches feminist truth to the patriarchy with the power of a Leo’s roar.
“They’d say I hustled Put in the work They wouldn’t shake their heads And question how much of this I deserve What I was wearing, if I was rude Could all be separated from my good ideas and power moves And we would toast to me or, let the players play I’d be just like Leo, in Saint-Tropez “
Virgo: Cornelia Street (Listen here). This lover declaration shows the nature of Virgo in that he/she loves so hard that if it didn’t work out they wouldn’t be able to face the nostalgic memories you created together.
“And I hope I never lose you, hope it never ends I’d never walk Cornelia Street again That’s the kinda heartbreak time could never mend I’d never walk Cornelia Street again And baby, I get mystified by how this city screams your name And baby, I’m so terrified of if you ever walk away I’d never walk Cornelia Street again”
Libra: It’s Nice to have a Friend (Listen here). Libras are known for being good friends and they have the ability to get along with most people.
“Light pink sky, up on the roof Sun sinks down, no curfew 20 questions, we tell the truth You’ve been stressed out lately, yeah, me too “
Scorpio: I Forgot That you Existed (Listen here). This song of indifference stings like a bee, or in this case a scorpion. They can be fierce as friends and lovers, but don’t cross them.
“I forgot that you existed And I thought that it would kill me, but it didn’t And it was so nice So peaceful and quiet I forgot that you existed It isn’t love, it isn’t hate, it’s just indifference”.
Sagittarius: False God (Listen here). While Sag is represented by an archer, the song False God aligns well since Sagittarius is known for being the hot sex partner. This seductive and jazzy piece meshes the lovers bed with the passion of worship.
“But we might just get away with it Religion’s in your lips Even if it’s a false god We’d still worship We might just get away with it The altar is my hips Even if it’s a false god We’d still worship this love”.
Capricorn: You Need to Calm Down (Watch here). Capricorn is practical and humorous, even unleashing sarcasm while digging in.
“You are somebody that we don’t know But you’re comin’ at my friends like a missile Why are you mad when you could be GLAAD? (You could be GLAAD) Sunshine on the street at the parade But you would rather be in the dark ages Makin’ that sign must’ve taken all night”
Aquarius: Death by a Thousand Cuts (Listen here). If I say Aquarians are hard workers it would be an understatement. They are passionate and don’t let anything get in their way, but if something(or someone) does, it’s death by a thousand cuts.
“My heart, my hips, my body, my love Tryna find a part of me that you didn’t touch Gave up on me like I was a bad drug Now I’m searching for signs in a haunted club Our songs, our films, united we stand Our country, guess it was a lawless land Quiet my fears with the touch of your hand Paper cut stings from our paper-thin plans My time, my wine, my spirit, my trust Tryna find a part of me you didn’t take up Gave you so much, but it wasn’t enough But I’ll be alright, it’s just a thousand cuts”
Pisces: Lover (Watch here). Pisces is the magic sign in the zodiac, full of hope for love. You won’t find them single for long, because they long for a lover.
“Ladies and gentlemen, will you please stand? With every guitar string scar on my hand I take this magnetic force of a man to be my lover My heart’s been borrowed and yours has been blue All’s well that ends well to end up with you”.
When my girls and I all tuned in to YouTube on Thursday night (Pacific time was 9pm) to watch Taylor’s new hit single and video, ‘ME!’, we were on the edge of our seats like most of the world. The new hit single is so catchy we can’t help but to watch the video and listen to the tunes on repeat throughout the day. Every scene is so rampant with color, symbolism, and artistic style.
While millions of Swifties are investigating her clues, my intuition perked up about how perfectly aligned her creative style is with her Natal chart. Just in case you didn’t know, a Natal Chart shows you where the sun, moon and all the planets were the precise minute of your birth. It reveals a lot about our lives, personality, and relationships.
Taylor’s chart is one of screaming color. I’ll show you what was illuminated through her sun, moon, ascendant, Mars, and Venus. It definitely sent glittering stardust all over me.
Taylor’s sun sign is the optimistic and ambitious Sagittarius. We know the Sag’s ruling planet is Jupiter, known for optimism, good fortune, and abundance. Jupiter sure has aligned with her location and time of birth for this award winning artist.
Sagittarius is known for their dark moments but those dark clouds quickly roll away. It’s no secret that Taylor has trouble following her, but she rises up and continues on anyway! Her snake at the beginning of the ME! video shows that transformation as it becomes a kaleidoscope of butterflies fluttering away. The Great Butterfly Migration in Southern California sure turned out to be magical for Taylor as she arrived at the iHeart Radio music awards in butterfly heels. Mother Nature sure seemed to have aligned the timing of the migration just for her!
Just as Sag has bad times, Taylor had her fair share and doesn’t ignore what she has endured. A smart Sagittarius will learn from the past and use it as wisdom to move forward. In the first scene of the ME! video we see relics of Taylor’s past as well as collections that point toward her future.
Taylor’s ascendant is Scorpio, this is the sign that was rising the date of her birth. A Scorpio ascendant knows who they are and doesn’t shy away from that. Taylor confesses in song that she knows she’s a handful, jumps before thinking, and never leaves well enough alone. Did you know her Mars is also in Scorpio? Mars represents how we fight and you don’t want to scuffle with a Scorpio!
Her yellow suit is the color of optimism and is represented by the Solar Plexus. It’s where all our energy and intellect is inspired from and her suit represents her business savvy. A Sagittarius is also known for their drive for higher thinking and success. Her choice of yellow sure indicates this connection to her astrological line up.
Taylor’s moon is in Cancer and a Cancer is known for their high priority on relationships. The scene with Brendon Urie and the umbrellas sure seems like a nod to Mary Poppins. Remember when Mary joins the chimney sweeps on the rooftop she dusts her nose with soot and joins them to step in time. Mary didn’t shy away from identifying with the normal everyday kind of folks and Taylor does just that. She’s one of us and lets us know all the time! She even reminds us in her new video “there’s A LOT of cool chicks out there!” Relationships are super important to Taylor from family, a romantic relationship, to her friends (this includes her fans). Her commitment to her fans is so deep and thoughtful as she hides easter eggs in all her work for them to enjoy.
Next we have her Venus, which is in Aquarius! Venus is all about how we love! Taylor’s dreams of romantic love manifests in her songs and videos and she is vibrant, fun, and outgoing. Just like the groovy red scene in the center of Brendon’s kaleidoscope heart. Dancing to this new beat as an independent woman, she shows us her Aquarian Venus flirtatious side.
Aquarius is known as the water bearer and in the final scene of ME! she’s wearing a blue dress that seems to be a waterfall of blue. We know her 1989 album had her going through an arduous time in her ‘Out of the Woods’ video where she finally finds herself on the shore. Like any Sagittarius, she’s gone through the woods, the muck, the mire, the frigid nights, but she comes out on top every time.
The universe sue seems to be sprinkling Taylor with illuminating stardust at every turn and I’m so thankful she shares it with the rest of us.
The season of Taurus is April 20- May 21 and brings us bountiful prosperity, dependability, achievement. It’s time to relax and enjoy the sun. Not even a butterfly can distract a Taurean from enjoying their favorite spot. A Taurus loves to bask in the sun of it’s favorite meadow.
Taurus is a fixed sign with the element of earth. The earth keeps them grounded and unmovable. Their ruling planet is Venus, Goddess of beauty, the arts, pleasure, and emotions. Venus’s influence in astrology is in creating a life of luxury and profound creative ability. Any Taurus should have a collection of beautiful crystals in their life.
A Taurean has a purpose in life and are steadfast in their decisions. Patience is one of their key strengths. They’re not one to be rushed through anything new, but once they see the vision ahead they’re leadership skills begin to shine. While some may have a temper, it’s rare for anyone to see it. Even though the bull prefers to graze in the pasture and enjoy life, if they’re pushed to the limit people will quickly realize they shouldn’t be challenging a bull.
Crystals that can support you are Citrine, Rose Quartz, Rainbow Moonstone, Ametrine, and Lapis Lazuli.
Citrine– The Taurus Zodiac really is the one sun sign that is predominately associated with financial prosperity. If you work with money, marketing, or the law of attraction then citrine is the crystal for you.
Rose Quartz– Taurus is the sign that loves to be lavished in beauty. They’re all about the aesthetics and if you know a classic Taurus he/she may be the one friend that always has a well put together outfit, matching jewelry, and probably has a knack with decorating their homes. There is beauty everywhere the Taurean looks. Rose Quartz is the crystal to work with for all matters of beauty. Most especially, inner beauty.
Rainbow Moonstone- A solid Taurus personality is likely to be seen as one with a solid emotional well being. Once they know what they believe they stand firm and steadfast in those beliefs. It takes quite a storm to shake up a Taurus and even then he/she may not budge. In matters of faith and spirituality, they’re an unmovable rock. Rainbow Moonstone is the crystal for working with balanced emotions.
Ametrine– While a Taurus can have those great steadfast qualities, they can also struggle a bit with being dogmatic about some issues. It can make for a difficult power struggle. Ametrine is a wonderful blend of two crystals, Amethyst and Citrine. When I think of Ametrine I think of Yin and Yang. Working with Ametrine can soften a Taurus and support balance.
Lapis Lazuli– Taurus is all about self-confidence and doesn’t shy away from leadership roles. Lapis Lazuli is the stone of self-confidence and supports speaking your truth. Work with a Lapis Lazuli ‘worry stone’ to remind yourself that what you have to say is important to share with the world.
May the energy of these crystals resonate with your journey through the season of Taurus. You don’t have to be a Taurus to glean from their ancient wisdom. Each sun sign is there to teach us valuable lessons about ourselves and support us as we walk through every path of the Zodiac.
This Spring we get to experience the Pink Moon in Libra and you may be able to tilt the scales in your favor. This April 19th the Pink Moon is a full moon to usher in the season of renewal and rebirth.
While the Pink Moon has attributes all on its own we’re seeing Libra’s influence on this magical night. Lets make room for the charming and refined personality of Libra that sends us over the moon for our loved one.
This season also brings us pastel bunnies, fruity flavored jelly beans, and sugary marshmallow chicks. Our baskets are full so lets get ready to spread that cheer and share our sweet spirits with others. Do you have a relationship that has been neglected? It’s time to balance the scale and allow some renewal to take shape.
You may want to work with some crystals to help set the mood or build an altar devoted to the work you’ll be doing in spirit. Some crystals to work with are egg shapes or even a unicorn for some magical influence.
All of us, no matter where on the Zodiac chart we find ourselves, have herbs that can support who we are in the cosmos. There are a few herbs for each Zodiac, but in this chart I focus in on one main herb to support you. **When you get to the bottom of this post you can find the master list of herbs for the zodiac to share with your friends on Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest.
Aries- For Aries you’re going to be supported by Geranium. Geraniums begin to bloom during your birth month and offer such vibrant beauty to the world around them. Their flowers range in color from white to red. The color red represents the element of fire, of which your sign is corresponded to. Add geranium flower petals to your next batch of moon water or use its essential oil to support your complexion’s health.
Taurus- Catnip is beneficial for the Taurean because it can be steeped in tea to create a soothing nighttime potion to help you rest well. It helps boost mood, relaxation, and eases anxiety. While a Taurus typically takes a while to get angry, catnip can help during those times when you’re seeing red all around.
Gemini- Lavender is a fragrant herb that can be used to support feeling relaxed and to inspire an overall feeling of well-being. A Gemini can become distracted from tasks and lavender can help calm anxiousness when you feel like moving on to the next project too quickly. Anoint your pillow with lavender essential oil for a good night’s rest.
Cancer- One of my personal favorites (even though I’m not a Cancer) is white sage. Cancer tends to be the sign that struggles the most with anxiety, emotional upheaval, and picks up on all sorts of vibes so white sage is the best herb to support you. Smudging with white sage can help bring you back to Mother Earth and settle those turbulent emotions.
Leo- Sunflower is the herb for our fiery Leos and they’re quite the show off among the herbal community. Their bright yellow petals symbolize the sun, which is the ruling planet of Leo. Dry the petals and use them in your next bonfire offering.
Virgo- The herb I chose for the holy woman of the Zodiac is marjoram. Virgo holds the power of healing with her intentions of making the world a better place. Marjoram is a medicinal herb that is antioxidant and has antimicrobial properties. You can steep marjoram in hot water for a steamy respiratory aid.
Libra- Thyme is an herb that symbolizes balance and since Libra is all about the scales of justice we find thyme to be the best herb for a Libra to partner with. Thyme is known for offering support for balanced skin health. Many Libras struggle with self-confidence so reach for an aromatic solution made with thyme to bring out your radiant self.
Scorpio- Some folklore claims that scorpions would breed in the presence of basil and this sign of the Zodiac is represented by the reproductive organs. The sting of a scorpion can leave quite a scar, but working with basil can bring healing (even when you’ve been stung by your own stinger).
Sagittarius- Saffron is quite the vibrant spice with its fiery hues. It’s the most expensive in the herbal/spice community which makes it ideal for a Sagittarius (who loves the finer things in life). Like the Sag, Saffron is corresponded to the element of fire. A pinch of saffron in warm milk at night is said to boost your libido, not that a Sag would need help in that area. 😉
Capricorn- A Capricorn has an active mind and rosemary is known to support brain stimulation. Its herbal power offers the Capricorn the magic of its essence. Simply steep fresh crushed rosemary in hot water to feel the brain benefit in its steam as you inhale with deep breaths.
Aquarius- Aquarius pairs best with fennel because Aquarians tend to have a developed cosmic affinity to know what makes people tick. Their mind is always searching for sound philosophy and understanding to the human psyche. Fennel is believed to support focus and to help the mind retain information. It’s fragrance strengthens the mind and the memory, making this the most ideal herb to work with.
Pisces- The herb I believe to be the most supportive for a Pisces is lemon balm. Pisces tend to need support to avoid addictions brought on by anxiety. They can be restless at times and seek to self medicate. Whether it’s through traditional medicines or by relieving that itch for sugar with a massive ice cream sundae, lemon balm can ease that tension. Try creating a lemon balm honey to be used in your next cup of chamomile tea.

Aries season is upon us and we honor and celebrate those born between March 20th – April 19th. Also, those whose Moon is in Aries! Have you ever discovered what your moon sign is? You can get your free Natal Chart from Astrostyle or use the TimePassages app (free). Now lets learn about the crystals that can support our strong and fiery Ariens.
There’s always going to be boundless images on the net and on Pinterest that claim which crystals are for Aries (and all the other signs in the Zodiac), but lets take a look at WHY certain crystals can support an Aries or a person whose moon is in Aries.
One of the foremost characteristics of an Aries is the symbolism of rebirth, renewal, and new beginnings. Aries is the first in the line of in our Zodiac and leads the way. For rebirth we work with Rose Quartz.
Rose Quartz– Rose Quartz is the traditional stone of love and for any rebirth process we need to have a good foundation in love. Love is what inspires us to go further in life. Ariens tend to be generous souls, always willing to lend a hand when someone is in need. They usually are seen as having a magnetic personality and draws people toward them.
Argentinian Blue Calcite– This form of blue calcite holds a lovely water energy, as if from the sea herself. This crystal is to offer support to our zodiac brothers and sisters because Aries is know for having a quick and hot temper. Blue Calcite cools those hot emotions to bring balance to their mood.
Carnelian– In the photo above you’ll see a Carnelian flame because Aries is a fire sign in the zodiac. While Aries holds its own fire energy, the Carnelian stone is known for creativity and energy. If you know an Aries you may have noticed their ability to take action when it’s needed. This is a spectacular characteristic and Carnelian is there to support this strong vibe.
Lepidolite– Ariens tend to struggle with patience so I offer Lepidolite as a support crystal. Lepidolite contains lithium, a mineral known to assist in calming your nerves which can support them in being patient. This doesn’t mean you should grind this beauty down and take it internally, leave the meds up to your physician. 😉
Honey Calcite– Aries is known for being optimistic and optimism is supported through honey calcite. This juicy and sweet little crystal is buzzing with positive vibes!
Here’s a quick run down on a few facts about Aries:
Ruling Planet: Mars
Dreams and Animal Totem: If a ram has presented itself to you in a dream, it could be a message that there’s an opportunity and you need to lower your head and charge full steam ahead. It could also mean you have an obstacle to get through and your ram spirit animal is there to guide you to break down those barriers.
As we approach the season of Aries we’ll see the full moon in Libra at the time of the Spring Equinox this week. This is the time of year we get to see 12 full hours of night and 12 full hours of daylight. This season of dark and light reminds us that while there are some who approach life with a black and white mindset, there’s so much color in this world to enjoy.
Even though we have 12 hours of night this equinox we aren’t in complete darkness. We have the moon to brighten our paths (and even on the new moon when we don’t see her light we still have the stars to brighten the night sky and guide us).
This stellar balance between the sun and the moon has been teaching us for as long as humans have inhabited this world. Their dance through the cosmos, with the stars to twinkle beside them, is a performance like no other. While there are some who firmly believe magic is either black or white, the cosmos shows us color even among the star dust, the aurora borealis, and the sunrises and sunsets.
Our universe and Mother Earth has shown us life isn’t just black and white. Life is so full of color and includes shade and light. It’s how we see the depths of things. If life was all light, all the time, we’d go blind. We need the shadows to give us perspective.
The Spring (and Fall) equinox teaches us balance and equality. When the sun’s light travels around our equator (because of the earth’s orbit), we can learn that the sun shines the same for all of us. We all, no matter which hemisphere we live on, will have equal daylight and night hours. Just as the sun shines equally for all of us, we all have equal value in this life.
“The earth is the mother of all people, and all people should have equal rights upon it.” ~ Chief Joseph
Likewise, when the daylight and night hours fluctuate during the rest of the year, we’re reminded of how human we really are. Not everyone believes in equality and balance. As I said earlier, some people have a very black and white view. “We’re right and you’re wrong”.
The Universe always has a way of teaching us valuable truths to inspire us to grow and evolve. The balance and equality we learn from the equinox is so timely this year because it’s accompanied by a Libra full moon. Libra is all about balance, order, and justice. Even more magical is that Libra’s ruling planet is Venus, the planet of LOVE. So here we have this beautiful theme this season of equality, balance, justice, and love.
Let this season be a time of personal contemplation. How can we improve ourselves in the area of equality for all? How can we adjust our schedules and priorities to make room for order? What can we eliminate to be sure we live a life of balance? As we approach Aries season, lets make room now for how the upcoming season of new beginnings can be beneficial for our lives.
February 19, 2019 marks the most fullest super moon of 2019, our beloved Snow Moon. The term, Snow Moon, is probably not as embraced by those suffering from the polar vortex this year. Though it will be quite a sight if your skies are clear.
This Super Snow Moon rises into Virgo, our astrological organizer! This is the perfect time to spend some time sorting through what no longer serves you and make some donations. Virgo is detail oriented and hard working so harness that skill for yourself and get your home and work space in order.
When I’m working on my home or work space I always begin with ritual to make sure my focus stays on target. There’s no time for distractions while the moon is in Virgo. We need to strike while the iron is hot!
Begin by visualizing how you what the space to look when you’re done. Once you have that image in your mind, light a candle and anoint it with essential oils. I like to use wild orange or grapefruit to get that added zing into my work. Next, visualize what steps it’s going to take to get there. You’re more likely to follow through when you’ve visualized those steps.
Now place some crystals around your candle on your altar or create a grid. These crystals help hold that energy while you work and help keep you going.
The crystals I work with depend on a few factors. What space am I working in? If it’s my bedroom, I focus on working with deep red crystals to promote romance. If it’s my bathroom, I work with clear quartz and water element crystals such as turquoise, blue calcite, or aquamarine.
Sometimes I see people commenting in social media poking fun at those of us who honor the Goddess and the full moons, but if the full moon reminds you of areas of your life that needs some extra TLC then don’t worry about the nay sayers. This Virgo full moon certainly won’t let critics get in the way of your personal growth.
Now move forward in accomplishing your organizational goals and celebrate with your favorite treat or drink once you’re done. Bless the space and smudge with Palo Santo to bring in added blessings.
February’s New Moon is on the horizon, making it’s approach to our skies on February 4th. I don’t know about you, but I wanna see manifesting in my life every month in 2019! Wouldn’t it be great to see your intentions actually materialize?
When I’m working with the New Moon, I’m gathering herbs, candles, and crystals (along with some anointing ritual oils) to bring some spark to my craft. I just happen to believe that incorporating the elements into my spiritual practice makes all the difference.
One year when we were visiting Palm Springs I set some intentions to find something very specific for my practice. Whenever we arrive at one of our villas, I always set up a crystal grid and smudge. As I was meditating in our villa, I visualized a small round dish, made of clay. I pulled out some paper and anointed my pen and began writing down exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a small round clay dish, but I needed it to be made by a woman artist who was devoted to her craft. I included my budget, $5. My intuition began to flow as I visualized this little hand made treasure. I repeated the description out loud three times and explained exactly how I wanted to find it and where. At the very end of this intention setting I felt a further nudge from Spirit…. I drew a heart on the paper. I wrapped it into a small square and placed it in my purse.
Later that night, at the street fair…I found a pottery vendor…a female…an artist devoted to her craft…and a box of small clay treasures. I gently sorted through the box and found it! A small clay dish, hand made by a devoted female crafter…and as I turned it over, BEHOLD! I saw a small heart carved into the bottom. The heart is part of her signature.
I was so ecstatic about this spectacular manifestation that I called my husband over. I called the woman over and showed her my list! I explained about how I set my intentions and told her exactly what I was searching for and showed her the small clay treasure I found at HER booth! She was so excited and asked if she could have my intention paper. Of course!
It was such a magical night for both us us. The Universe gave us both the confirmation that magic is real. There really is power in the pen.
Sometimes I have very specific crystals I wanna work with, depending on what the intention is for. But I also have some crystals that are an all-around smart choice for anyone to work with, under the New Moon.
Crystals for New Moon Manifesting
When the moon is dark and the night is deep, I reach for Black Moonstone.
Black Moonstone is the premiere crystal to have take center stage on your New Moon altar. It’s symbolism is to empower you in all new things. This is the birth place of all new ideas and inspiration. I associate Black Moonstone with the Goddess, Morrigan. It’s secretive energy teaches us the mysteries of this ancient Goddess. As much as we all would love to say we work in all love and light, sometimes love requires the kind of strength The Morrigan can offer us. It can be dark, mysterious, and empowering. The energy we receive and manifest from working with Black Moonstone is the kind of energy that gives us the strength to be vocal leaders for equality for women.
Another magical treasure I sometimes work with under the New Moon is Labradorite, especially in sphere form.
Labradorite has been worked with by magic practitioners for support for the Heart, Third Eye, and Crown Chakras. It teaches us to allow our inner magic to be brought into the light to sparkle radiance in our lives. Labradorite has been partnered with healers to expand awareness of the heart and mind, develop psychic skills, and support for lucid dreaming. This makes Labradorite an astounding choice when setting intentions.
One last recommendation is to work with my Intuition Kit, curated to inspire your intuitive process.
Any time I work with magical intentions, I enlarge my borders to visualize what else I’m needing. When it comes to intuition, tunnel vision can severely limit our visionary journey. This is why I include several stones in this kit for you to work with. This kit is designed to help you connect with others (including spirit guides or angels) with an intuitive communication style.
After manifesting that scared little dish, I wished for all my loved ones to be able to manifest like that! We gather together in an intimate group on Facebook to seek wisdom, counsel, and guidance for our magical workings. I hope you’ll join us there and share your manifestation successes with us. *Mention this article when you join and get a special discount code for this upcoming New Moon.
