Abundance Principles- Value

How we value life and all that’s contained therein can greatly influence how abundance manifests in our lives. How do we value ourselves, our families, what we currently posses, and what we have not yet achieved? Are we practicing gratitude?

The system of our society places value on life and possessions based on greed. If money wasn’t a part of the system, how would your value meter change? How we value will directly influence how we manifest abundance.

We have to get to the gritty parts of our thinking and our emotions and do some serious work.

We’re either manifesting passively or purposefully and our subconscious values are at work. Are your values working against you or in your favor?

Join us in our Facebook group to gather advice about the value of abundance from other intuitive practitioners.

Magical Vocabulum- Tasseography

The only magical thing I know of my grandmother, on my father’s side, was that she read tea leaves. I wish I could’ve had the chance to be inquisitive about her spiritual beliefs, but it wasn’t a thought on my mind at the time. Oh, if we could turn back time! Needless to say, my knowledge of reading tea leaves had to come through research, practice, and meditation. One of the beautiful things about intuitive arts is the liberality of your own creative style.

Tasseography: to gain divine insight by discerning tea leaves. In Middle Eastern Traditions, coffee grounds are read for divine guidance. Did you know you could also read sediment left behind by wine? Just another good reason to pour a glass.

There are psychological aspects to reading tea leaves, similar to that of inkblot readings by your psychologist. It all started with Swiss Freudian Psychiatrist, Hermann Rorschach. It’s been a method of examining a person’s personality characteristics and emotional wellbeing. The methods between the psychological reading of inkblots and the metaphysical have similarities, but also some distinctive differences.

A psychologist may dissect what you see in the inkblot as a method of investigating what has already taken place in you. Whereas a tea leaf reader may look into your future with what’s left in your tea cup. Both methods can be equally helpful for our overall wellness.

Tasseography is widely known of in the Gypsy community, but people from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds can be a talented tea leaf readers. Intuitive Art is a craft that any artist can tap into and develop their skills in a way that’s productive for them. I don’t buy into the idea that any particular region has the corner market on spiritual skills and talents, though I do recognize and honor the depth each holds in their heritage. If you’re feeling called to deepen your soul with tasseography, start with the Gypsy community and see where they take you.

There are graphics online that show symbolism and shapes to guide you in interpreting the images you see in the bottom of the cup, but also consider writing your own key based on what your intuition teaches you.

Did you know you can use specific herbs to enhance your tea leaf readings? You can learn more about herbal magic in my class “Intuitive Practitioner”. In this class, we journey together in developing a personal intuitive practice to not only benefit ourselves, but everyone else we are mentoring and guiding.

Abundance Principles-Giving

The art of giving- When you want to create abundance you need to think in terms of giving.

This isn’t about giving money or lavish gifts (though any giving is good) it’s about digging deep into your soul. Does the gift speak to the soul? Is there a meaningful memory involved in the gift or perhaps a tool to assist the receiver with their life long dreams? Let your giving touch the soul.

Join us in our Facebook group to learn more about how to give in ways that manifest for you and for those you give to.

Magical Vocabulum- Altar

The word ‘altar’ has some negative connotations for some, depending on what they were taught. An altar has been used by peoples from all different regions and spiritual paths throughout history and even in our modern day use of wedding ceremonies.

Altar- an elevated place for honoring deity or ancestors. Not to be confused with ‘alter’, which means ‘to change’ as in, making alterations.

While an altar is a physical place of reverence, the verb ‘alter’ is what can happen when we spend time in spiritual practice at an altar. If we aren’t growing and transforming through spiritual practice then we’re missing out on what we can accomplish in this life.

An altar can be set up to honor and beseech a deity for assistance or knowledge, but one does not need to seek a deity to work with an altar. An altar can be used to help you focus on intentions and goals you want to see manifest or to serve as a purpose of keeping us mindful of how we use our influence in the world. I sometimes arrange a mini family altar to support communication when the family is at odds with each other.

You can learn more about creating an altar in my course, “Intuitive Home Class”. In this class I teach you how to create your own intuitive practice at home and create a sanctuary of abundance and blessings. I hope you’ll join us.

The 3 Best Kept Secrets of Magic

These are some of the best kept secrets to working magic and there are plenty of practitioners out there that don’t want you to know about them. They’ll scoff, ridicule, and even rebuke me for publishing this. But here you are, getting in on the truth now. Hopefully before you break the bank trying to pay for expensive classes and pricey tools. These secrets don’t exactly align well with those who make hundreds of thousands of dollars selling beads, incense, and candles. I’m not here to knock their endeavors, but you deserve to know the truth and we all know truth sets us free.

  1. Everyone can work magic. Your religion, economic status, or level of education doesn’t matter. You’re not more likely to have powerful magic because you’re of a particular religious order. The vast size and amount of crystals, incense, or magic supplies you buy with your hefty bank account doesn’t make you more likely to create influential magic. You don’t have to be raised with a silver spoon in your mouth. I know this cuts the ego of those who think their wealth and status in their religion is what makes them more magical, but the truth is ANYONE can use magic
  2. Expensive supplies are not needed to work magic. While having a massive quartz generator or Crystal ball are beautiful tools, they aren’t required for magic to work. You can work with magic with or without tools. You can use acorns, seeds, string, an old thimble, or a variety of other household items that you have laying around.
  3. There’s no religion on earth that has the corner market on magic. Oh there’s plenty of people who follow strict orders, practices, and rituals. They believe it’s their way or the highway, but their belief doesn’t govern your spiritual practice. You have the complete freedom to create a spiritual practice full of sparkly magic without their control.

So just what is magic and how does one harness it?

The one requirement that I’ve come to understand that’s needed for magic to work is belief. Belief is what brings us hope and hope opens lots of doors for the impossible to become possible. If you believe in magic, then the world is a blank canvas for your creative spark to start igniting your dreams to manifest.

Magic is the intentions you put out, the vibe you’re generating. How you emit that vibe is part of the magic. How you cultivate the spark, how you fan the flame. This is your magic.

This is the basis for working with intuitive arts. All the tools we use are our materials and it’s important to get to know your materials. Know how they work, practice your techniques, and spend time creating. If you’d like to learn more please join one or more of my classes.

Welcome to Intuitive Home Solutions! My philosophy is that all the best and most important magic in the world begins in our hearts and homes. As humans, we’re always searching for answers. We search for it in money, at work, at school, in others, but far too often we forget that we have all the answers we need. Inside. We’re all born with that spark of inspiration, but too busy looking outward to find it. That spark is our intuition and should we slow down our pursuits in the world for a few moments a day we can hear it speaking to us, calling our names, and enlightening us to unlimited possibilities. The home to our intuition, offering solutions for real life problems. My work in this world is to nudge us closer to discovering our intuitive arts. I hope you’ll join me on this journey.
